Wishing warmer days ahead for you though, since I believe hot onion soup can only take a man so far.Helenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06285752863839879261noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4483513314291248298.post-47073286287579908642009-09-17T16:41:45.355-07:002009-09-17T16:41:45.355-07:00Congratulations!!! Having survived today's epic (truly fits here) ride, all future cycling (except maybe tomorrow's) should seem easy, at least until we're old, feeble, and riding tricycles again. Did the TPC sag wagon take dry clothes to the summit restaurant? Phil, best of pedaling the rest of the way, we're off to Pgh tomorrow and cycling the GAP trail next week, will try to stay tuned in.Georgenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4483513314291248298.post-55839990908471505372009-09-17T15:46:20.568-07:002009-09-17T15:46:20.568-07:00Wow, the meal at the top sounds great!! We need to know more details about each meal, how much food (all you can eat?) eggs for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch, vegan or vegetarian food available? Are many eating lots of meat to get the 6000-7000 calorie daily intake? On the introspection thing, you are there because I persuaded you to do it, and I take full responsibility. This is an endurance test, and you are doing quite well, my friend, it is a story of mind over matter, pain over indifference, the triumph of courage...it will mean much more in hindsight, back in the comfortable suburbs of DC, looking out at manicured lawn, rider mowers, the glow of the TV in all the surrounding houses, the glut of lassitude.....Lancenoreply@blogger.com
