my barcelona bano

ok, like with so many things about bathrooms, i couldn't wait. and here's what you've all been waiting to see ever since i began populating this blog. the image on the left is my sink, which you'll notice has a very unusual oblong drain. it's basically a trough with a small hold at the bottom and center of it. the faucet is also quite decorative and unusual, as you can see. the shaving cream can was innovative in its day but is now passe, and placed as a foil. the image on the right is unfortunately rotated 90 degrees and i was too eager to share it with you to waste time figuring out how to rotate it back through blogger. i probably have to do it through my computer file. but anyway, notice the square head and bright shiny stainless steel materials. i'm looking forward to my shower tomorrow, and sunday. the shower stall itself is open, very edgy. Would not make for a good set for Psycho.

before i start getting thousands of comments pointing out that the sink is not on the 'left' and the shower head is not on the 'right', i thought i would comment to that effect on my own post. i have a lot to learn about blogger, and s/he about me...

Wow, I feel like I'm right there with you and the shaving cream and the amazing sideways-shooting shower. pt-cycling has never seen the likes of this! Be sure you save some of that blogging energy for the Pyrenees!

Glad you've gotten this far safely. We are avidly following your every move from the stationary bike (or the stationary couch, in my case) in rainy Rockville.

Glad you've addressed bathrooms here early and "head-on" given the fluid management ahead. Is there U.S.-grade Gatoraide in the Pyrennes? Is Virginia "earth roasted beef" on the recovery menu (see top photo at
http://www.therecorderonline.com/news/2009/0806/sports/047.html)? One Smith house rule is to never discuss Hanna Montana, please refrain from any further discussion. Eagerly await more posts and, yes, photos!

Hey Phil,

I think you are going to have a great "Tour del Bano". No need to leave the hotel room.

Hope your roads are wider than some of those on last night's Vuelta a Espana!
